Thank you for the tips

Well Max, Baron put out a nice blueprint for you there. Most of what he said is pretty much what I've heard over the years. I've been lucky that I've always had a real high metabolism so I've been able to cheat a lot more with my diet.

I've always had a rule that if I was going to eat poorly on any given day, I had to go to the gym. On days when I don't go, I try to eat pretty clean. But the whole idea of having a cheat day and being able to eat whatever you want after a workout are pretty standard.

As baron said, the key is consistency. Doing less but consistent is better then doing more but cheating all the time.

Let me also add something that I think Baron will agree with. Mix up your workout a lot. Two reasons, one so you don't get bored out of your mind. And two, the more you stimulate your body with new exercises and different routines, the better. Your muscles are very good at getting conditioned to the same workouts. It's part of our evolution. I'm not sure how much water Baron drinks, but I drink a shitload of water and I think it's pretty important if you want to lose weight as well if you are going to be on any stimulants.

The one thing I am very bad on which is important is sleep. I don't get enough sleep. Baron is getting 8 hours which is pretty important if you want your body to recover properly.

I drink about a gallon and a half of water per day. I go through phases sometimes where I get sick of drinking plain water, so during those times I will mix in a packet of Crystal Light into my water bottle to give it some flavor. Each packet is about 5 calories. I'm not sure if it's the artificial sweetener or what, but I can only handle one or two crystal lights per day. Any more than that and I feel a little bloated and weird.

Baron,

How long have you used carnivor and do you cycle it due to the creatine in it ?

I've been using carnivore for about 8 months straight..... i.e. I have not been cycling it at all.

You can't go wrong with rules like that in place.

what 10RM is typical for 70 inch male?

80-100 lbs for a barbell bench press

you hear about guys boasting how they could bench 175 the first time they touched a weight. they're either internet liars or one of the few who were naturally strong

if you guys are gonna try beef protein, I suggest you buy the smallest size before committing to it. I personally don't like the stuff. i use casein and liquid egg whites.

I prefer to supplement with things that actually have some long term usability and real promise to them. The best thing I've found recently is ursolic acid. It's not liver toxic, and it has recent scientific research behind it, not some junk research paper from 1962 like so many of the prohormones and "designer steroids" out there.

what's your dosing schedule for ursolic acid? how long did it take to notice a difference? I've considered trying it but it gets plenty of bad reviews.

Yeah, good point. That reminds me. The BEST way to try a lot of products without having to spend one dime is to go to one of those fitness expos. You can come away with hundreds of supplement samples at a show like that. We had one here in Orlando back in April, but I was out of town so I missed it. My buddy went though and he sent me this picture of all the samples he picked up
