Method or Rule?

I would like to start a discussion on whether Method or Discipline is more important in this market?

There are people who think that the right method will make you rich very quickly, but there are people who think that the method only accounts for 10% of your success, if you want to be the ultimate winner, you must be a man keep rule.

What is your opinion?

Provided you have the right methodology, you need the discipline to stick to it...no matter what..

Discipline imo as there are so many methods whereas discipline is in short supply. A method with discipline works a method no matter how good does not work without discipline

If personality coinsides with method (drawdowns) is easier to trade than mismatch. Poor discipline can be result of multiple mismatches.

Method or Discipline

When you believe in your method you don't need to be discipline. The discipline is build in when you believe. Discipline is hard to maintain. Believes are integrated in your personality.

Having the best method will also be wasted if you are not disciplined enough to use it effectively.

It's so much easier to be disciplined when you win and win again , not so easy when you lose and lose again.
