MetaTrader 4: We did it!

On the 1st of July, 2005, MetaQuotes Software Corp. plans to release new Forex trading system of MetaTrader 4 officially. The software complex will go on sale and a free new version of the client terminal (part of the complex) will appear on the company's website on the first day of the month.

MetaTrader 4 represents a complete solution designed to organize brokerage services at Forex, CFD, and Futures. It includes both client terminal to be installed on the trader's computer and back office components to process trading operations on the broker's side.

MetaTrader 4 is the fourth version of Forex trading platform developed by MetaQuotes Software. The new system is 3 to 5 times more productive than its predecessor. Reliability, security, ability to efficiently resist DoS and DDoS attacks are absolute advantages of the new system.

More than one and a half year was taken by the working on this new system. In this process, the developers cooperated closely with many brokerage companies and banks from all over the world. The most of them, considering the new system for more suitable, declared their changing for MetaTrader 4 even before it had been completed.

"Almost a year has passed since the first mention of the new system up to the beta-version release", said CEO of MetaQuotes Software, Renat Fatkhullin. "Now, after seven more months of testing, we can finally say: We did it!"

How guys you can say:
"we did it!".
When the main function "strategy tester ", still doesn't work. I would say it's only a half of job is done.If it's soo hard to write a new "strategy tester ", then at least add the old one from mt3.
and don't say :
"tester will be soon".
you been saying that for a long time ago.

You`ll find new Strategy Tester in this version of MetaTrader4 Client Terminal. And thats why we can say: "Its done"

Means it that automatic trading systems developed without crappy MQL4 will be dead?

Flakas, MQL 4 is not crappy. API as it was in MetaTrader 3 will not be realized, but using MQL 4 you can use external programs. Try to check /experts/sample directory in root of MetaTrader 4 client terminal.

Soo does it mean i can run mt4 strategy tester ?
i have attached "macd sample" expert advisor and I can not run strategy tester at all neither from View -> Strategy tester nor with Ctrl+R. I've installed 173 version.If it's included , why it's not available for testing?
