nitro- why do you have Lady Gaga and Rhianna videos on your metal thread? I'm just curious? It's your thread and can post whatever you want, I was just wondering? U can always post either of those two (Gaga and Rhianna) or any pop/dance female videos like that on my thread. I have a lot of both of their videos on my thread already actually. They make hot videos... just a thought?

Well, I like the songs so I thought I would have a quick link to it that I can remember.

You know, people on ET don't understand how I use this site. To me, it is a kind of collection of free-form thoughts to myself. It is a compendium of things that I find interesting. Occasionally someone writes something or contributes something that really enriches me.

I think there is huge disconnect between how people use this site and the way I use it. If no one ever responded to my threads or knew that I existed, it wouldn't bother me! The only ones that I am sort of interested in responses is when I post a poll, because then I am actually seeking your opinion.

Don't take offense from my stuff! I don't mean to insult anyone or in anyway detract from other posts. I just need to be free to be creative, and then I need to be able to find the stuff later. So if I do a search on nitro and metal, my stuff comes up and I can find my music! See? On that metal thread, some amazing music was posted (I had never heard of VNV). I consider it a gift.

Yikes! I don't understand why people are so touchy about my stuff

You know what would be useful? A personal scrapbook that can be links to individual posts. That way, if I like a song from RCG thread on music, I can drop it into my scrapbook, categorized by music. A personal folder of posts would work too, as long as subfolders could be created and labeled.

In essence, I would be allowed to create my own thread in a folder of posts from different threads. I could completely personalize ET that way.

That would be awesome!! I wish there was a way to do that, I would do it in a heartbeat. I often find myself searching back through old threads for links etc. but can't find them. That is a great idea...

And I completely understand what you mean about just posting what you want in your thread so you know it's there, and is pretty much a collection for you. I drop stuff on my thread like that often too. I also have a complete separate tumblr page that I just post random stuff I like, I would call it my personal scrapbook... I'm glad you like Vnv Nation, I discovered them a good 7 or 8 years ago, and have completely fallen in love with their music.
