No. The George Floyd riots were about a bunch of thugs destroying their own communities and trying to get a bunch of free stuff. They could care less about George Floyd and why would they? George Floyd was a criminal thug himself and really served no purpose in society.

George Floyd riots was about people reaching a boiling point about Police Brutality especially when there was a video of the knee on a man's neck...suffocating him with nearby police not concerned about his life.
That police officer would eventually be convicted of murder...unaminous vote by the jurors (some Republicans and some Democrats).
Cities in America and many other cities around the world reacted in anger and were shocked by the police brutality by rioting in their communities and other communities. Yes, like many riots in America since the 1700's, many people do not know the person that was murdered, or beaten by someone but it was still a violation because at the time of the murder (knee on the neck)...
The country and the world were in a Pandemic and many people were tired, angry, and unemployed because the government was shut down, schools closed, the government did not know how to manage the Covid Pandemic, and many protestors and rioters lost relatives & friends in the Pandemic...
Statistically, many protestors were not thugs. At night, young rioters would come out and loot stores. They were not rioters...they were just looters.
Simply, while the Police were busy battling rioters at night...looters were busy stealing from the stores. My neighbor is a high-ranking police officer here in Quebec and I know a few police officers in the Chicago area...
Two different countries with the same identification: Peaceful protestors during the day, Rioters targeting the Police...mostly day and a few at night, and Teenage Looters robbing the stores. All of this is because the three different groups of people were tired of Police Brutality and tired of the Covid Pandemic.

My point, Trump cannot or does not know how to fix crime in America, riots in America or abroad in other countries, and Wars in other countries. Trump, Biden or any other politician can not control what another human being anywhere on this planet decides to harm, steal, or raise arms against someone else...similar to the Trump administration not being able to prevent the riots of 2020.

BS.. The George Floyd riots happened because everyone was bored from being trapped home from covid and it gave them a chance to blow off steam, wreck a bunch of stuff and then rob and steal. Short answer - Police did not put a knee on their necks even though the other people arrested earlier in the same day would be considered to be thugs because the Police are trained to know what happens when a knee or choke hold is used to cut off the blood flow in someone's neck for more than 15 seconds.
One of those people who did not get a knee on the neck was a man arrested for driving a stolen vehicle...arrested for a DWI. He had a prior prison record too for drug trafficking and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident...
