Merkel Wins German Election... WTF??

Does the person who gets the most votes win over there or do they have a system like ours where a candidate can get millions more votes than any other candidate and still lose?

Merkel's re-election means little and was expected...

"The big story of the German election is clearly the rise of the nationalist right, in the form of Alternative for Germany, which scored over 13 per cent of the vote and will be the third-largest bloc in parliament with more than 90 MPs."

The end of German exceptionalism
Far-right electoral gains show the country is not immune to the populist virus

Still whining like a little girl. Look, there's a simple solution for not liking the Constitution of the United States - piss off to another country where the rules fit your idea of utopia, OR try to get enough little girls who like to whine to join you and amend the Constitution.

Germany has the lowest unemployment rate in all Europe.

That's because the purpose of the eu was to turn all the other countries in europe into colonies of Germany. Refer to Greece for more on that.

Of course that works until it doesnt. Refer to Brexit for more on that.

Not to worry though. The Americans will give the Brits good trade deals to help out a bit.
I know you won't like that. Nothing bothers your ilk more than to see Americans and Brits do well.
