Merkel destroyed the European Union

voters don't respond well to dictates. Especially when those dictates are horribly destructive. She went about ten bridges too far and now look. European Union on the verge of a break up. Euro at near parity. she basically destroyed the European Union singlehandedly. Through progressive hubris and arrogance (think Hillary).

I can't help but think the Muslim migration was a giant activist investment trade by soros. He was behind the migration. Documented. He trades countries and currencies. Perhaps long migration short euro ? While reengineering Europe under a quasi Caliphate? It's something he would do.

If Le Pen gets elected in France this spring it's over and done with the EUSSR. The sooner the better. The only economies in Europe that have prospered since the introduction of the Euro are Germany and countries outside the Euro. Countries like the Netherlands and Finland, that have implemented all the austerity measures that the EU required, have done very poorly, thanks to an overvalued euro in relation to their economic strength. No to mention this insane immigration policy of Merkel, which will take decades if not longer to undo. Yep, you can leave it to the Germans to bring misery to Europe.:(

That's the way it is. Soros is a quasi foreign policy adviser to numerous countries all while he trades their currencies. #wikileaks
Buffett gets the first call and dibs on US companies in trouble, all while the feds give him special terms on the deals that make them nearly can't lose propositions.

And Cankles rakes in a hundred million dollars to her and Bubba in 'donations' while she's dispensing favors from her perch as Sec of State.

That's the way they play the game. Or rather, the way they play us.

Unlikely for LePen to get elected:
the "system" is eliminating any candidate that can allow her to win, hence the actual President has announced he would not be seeking a second term, hence a real "Establushment" candidate ( Juppé) has been eliminated. The "system" knows that
its job is to make sure people actually go and vote for their candidate. All about turnout.

Trump and Brexit were unlikely too. Italy voted in majority against the EU this weekend and Geert Wilders' PVV is now the biggest party in the polls. The game of ridiculing and demonizing doesn't work anymore.

Agreed, at every turn, the consensus has been "it can't happen", then it morphs into "they won't allow it to happen". In some regards, I view this as a covert coup by some very involved factions to stem the tide of what has clearly become entirely out of hand.

Even this Trump election has quickly become a major return to the status quo of involved interests. It didn't take long either.

Markets loving the Euro breakup tho. Onto new highs? Wtf is going on

First, you had the Brexit analog, then you had the Trump analog. These markets are so gutted by a decade (clearly longer in some markets) of central bank intervention, HFT and the death of traditional liquidity, that some well timed interventions just "flip the script". You can even study the post-Brexit analog and find a near identical pattern in the markets at the same time juncture (roughly August 1-3). In other words, much of this is scripted.

^ Don't fight the Fed, apparently. Everything else means absolutely jackshit.
