Mercola - Thumbs down? | Thumbs up?

By the way Mercola was right about coconut oil, it does help with heart disease by boosting good cholesterol. His problem was you can't make medical claims without FDA approval but that doesn't mean you are not right.

Hey FF, how is Mercola different from Big Pharma, with all those oppressed research, minuscule results pumping statins and shit?

How about the diet industry or the government giving us incredibly BAD guidelines for decades?

I do my own research and take what I believe in.

Seriously, so far the government's response was for catching the virus: stay home and drink liquids. Now that is some advice!!
So you're paving the way for a snake oil salesman? By looking at mainstream medicine through a microscope, and Mercola through a kaleidoscope?

So you're paving the way for a snake oil salesman?

Why is he snake oil? If you back 100 supplements, sure a few going to be misses. My point is that generally his advice is sound. Just like doctor Oz's. (to piss off some people)

Mainstream medicine cause way more harm than Mercola, so...

Did he perhaps make unsubstantiated claims? Because that's what he does.

1. So does Big Pharma.
2. As long as it doesn't cause you harm, it could be just enthusiasm.
3. I am not clicking your links, if it is raises good cholesterol than according to current science, it is good for you.

Coconut oil is better for you than corn oil, period.

What's wrong with tanning beds? As long as he doesn't claim it cures cancer, I am fine with it.
The defendants were charged with falsely claiming that their indoor tanning devices would enable consumers to slash their risk of cancer and improve the clarity, tone and texture of their skin, giving them a more youthful appearance.

And speaking of cancer:

Vibrant Health Research Chlorella XP, claimed to “help to virtually eliminate your risk of developing cancer in the future.”

He makes so many cancer-related claims, you'd think he was an oncologist. The guy is or was an osteopath.

OK, just to play with you, if you are nicely tanned, you have less chance of getting skin cancer by staying out on the sun.
