I am a yank by the way. As for as what KP had to say, I don't know much about trading stocks, but I know abything about options so it's going to take me time to figure it all out. I am willing to do so though because I want to expand my knowledge and gain experience.k..time to cut the grass..dishes are finished..jl..i expect to see some answers later on..u need to start using ur head..and tell ur girlfriend..if u have one..that u wont be able to give her as much time as recent..due to progressing your career..which i am sure..if she has any sense at all..she will fully understand..as she is the one who will be spending all that money u will make in the future

As for a daily return,(IB requires 3k deposit) keep in mind I only get paid every 2 weeks, so I have to keep 1k for bills. And I also need to buy a laptop for trading as my desktop is outdated. Also the job Im curently in pays 100 a day and it starts 1 hour after the markets opens so I can only trade early morning before work. I'm hopefully going to start contracting soon so I can work weekends and free up weekdays for trading. So there are some things I have to get in order before I start.but if I do start with my current job trading only 3k, I'd like to make 10 dollars in that hour each morning.

Okay I'm going to head to the bank after work and set up a seperate account for investung and hopefully set up my IB account and post my picture tonight!
jl..i just done a trade on my mobile..to show u how easy it is to make 10 dlrs..but..what u must undrstnd..is that is just as easy lose 10..wat u nd to get into ur head..is..price can change very quickly..and a profit can disappear in no time..become a loss..and if u are not prepared then u will be very sorry..and ur head will start to ply sly games with u..so..here u go..proof of what i just said..u can expect this as the norm..so u must have a plan to deal with it

btw..if any1 genuinely think i am giving jl bad advice..pls feel free to say so..jl is all excited now..which is normal..but he must lose that excitment and become aware of the reality of trading..dealing with winners are easy..dealing with losers is a different story..which must not be allowed..both outcomes must have the same effect on u mentally..otherwise..it is just a matter of time

In the 3rd chart the price dropped after rising. I may study quite a bit more about options tonight before I open my account. I want to understand the fundementals of how trading options works first. Also are you using IB on your phone? If so I can trade at work as well. Also, I have a question about the pdt rule. Apparently I am limited to 4 trades a week on a daily basis with an account under 25k? I Do not understand the rule fully but how can I day trade with this rule?

u are only limited to 4 trades if u open a margin account..u will be opening a cash account..do not apply for margin acc as do not need it now..when u have enough money to fulfill the pdt rule then u can open a margin acc..think or urself as a baby for now..u have to learn to crawl before u can walk..and be prepared to fall a good few times before u can stand on ur own 2 feet

yes..3rd chart..price retraced..if i had not put in my lmt order and took profit..then it was halfd vry qckly..in time it will become apparent why i put lmt where i did..this time it worked out for the best..other times it will not..but that is trading..and that is why u need to know what to do if certain things happen..or don't happen..it is common sense really!
