Memory keeps running low all of a sudden

Nope, no BitDefender.

I mainly just run Esignal, IB TWS, Spotify, and a few browsers and that's it.

I changed some of my start-up settings yesterday and it looks as though it's worked a bit. I've been following my task manager all day, though, and it's still been getting up into the 70's at times. Hasn't forced a restart yet, but seems to be gradually pressing it.

I work in IT and no browser is going to use that much ram. Google chrome only requires 128mb of memory. If you have the disk do a clean install and reinstall the apps if it persist.

Try setting your computer to best performance.
Schedule disk defragment to run weekly
Set your paging file size to maximum supported
delete programs from startup folder
goto msconfig enable selective start up

If all else fails clean install from scratch.

Almost certainly due to a software problem... perhaps a new update?

If you can, try running your rig without Google. Or, just bring it up when you actually need to access.

Indeed.

And whatever you do do NOT be tempted to install that cleanmypc.com trash. They load your machine with more crapware than it came with.

PC Mag once did a test and tried those online cleanup services on a virgin system with just Windows 7 on it and not only did they report that the machine needed cleaning (for just a $59.00 payment

) they left the machines in far worse shape than they started.

Amen to that brother. Additionally, in a community forum such as this, there are plenty of people willing to help out. He is clearly a victim of BLOAT, and some simple steps to remove the offending processes will more than likely fix his condition.
