Yeah. But that was weeks later.
The "good ol' boys" were doing their thing, providing transportation and shelter (by some even opening up their own homes), and providing cash $'s to those hurt the most. And they were the first in there with chainsaws cutting sh*t out of the the roads so EMS could get thru.
The illegals... call a spade a spade here... they were more than likely trying to break into the real heros' trucks to steal those same chainsaws, while these (unsung hero's) perhaps tried to grab a few hours sleep.
