And the court cases made it clear that Trump was lying about the value of his properties. Trump's claims about his wealth to Forbes is meaningless.
Even Forbes recognizes that Trump nowhere near meets the criteria to make their Top 400 list.

Another reason Trump’s net worth dropped over the past year might be the fact that his wealth may never have been as high as claimed. According to the latest civil suit filing, Trump’s net worth was allegedly embellished by between $1.9 billion and $3.6 billion, per The Guardian.
Central to the lawsuit is the overstated size of Trump Tower, of which Forbes claims Trump has been lying about for years. “Property records list 235,000 square feet, 53,000 of which cover less-valuable common elements like elevators, public restrooms and mechanical spaces,” Forbes suggested. Trump had reportedly claimed the building included 246,000 square feet of retail and office space.

There are more than 350 billionaires in the U.S. who aren't rich enough to make the grade. That includes several famous face
All those foreign trademarks, Mar-o-largo memberships by foreign spy agencies, over billing the US Govt for boaring at trump properities, Kushner using his name to sell E5 visas, etc.
And let's not forget all the money he got in donations and in selling Trump water at rallies.
If he didn't make a billion from 2015-2021, he's gotta be the worst businessman on the planet.... oh wait.
