if your default POV is that mainstream has a narrative that engages in groupthink, and your immediate reaction hifalutin mindless contrarianism, I've got some bad news. You're not being "smarter" or more "enlightened", you're just engaging in equal and opposite groupthink. Sometimes being objective lands right smack where the mainstream perspective is.
i'm sorry if continuously receiving pushback on every Russian apologism is seen as going around in circles....that irony is not lost on me.
