we should at least have some badges designating how many decades we have been a member?

That's pretty funny that you remember that. Ya know though, there was pride in that back in the day. A friend of mine's mom had a 25 year (or whatever) pin from Macy's.... and it really was a matter of pride. She worked the perfume counter or something.
I can say one thing.... while we were all wearing crappy hand me down clothes from wherever, my bud was always GQ. They used to give their employees super-sick discount days to buy whatever they wanted.
