I'm essentially a buy and hold investor but dabble < 5% in options, currency futures and other speculative rubbish.

I have visited the following places in Australia:
Sydney, Alice Springs, Urulu, Adelaide, Kangaroo Island, Melbourne, Canberra, and Brisbane. All lovely places and full of wonderful people. I also travelled with two guys from Australia for a while when I visited Spain, coolest and funniest companion by far.
Australians are generally reasonable people. I like it here!

Obviously we move in different circles,but I can only say as I find!
Did you catch the the program on Russian traders who had become filthy rich[some were billionaires] trading the markets. Pretty impressive considering the short time in the capitalist free markets.
