Do Canadians and Swiss separate the families and put them in cages and then argue that these are summer camps? Do you know how many people Obama deported WITHOUT adhering to Nazi tactics? You guys setup a strawman because you can't defend the indefensible. You can turn away people the humane way or you can call them vermin and infestation which is what your Biblical messiah said today.
There is a thing called personal accountability. Personal accountability involves making appropiate decisions to keep your family comfortable and safe. In the United States, children are removed from their parents in the name of safety. Typical standards for child removal include if food is in the refrigerator or if shelter is provided. The overwhelming majority of these cases involve substance abuse or a serious crime on the part of the parent(s).
Why should potential immigrants be afforded more rights than its own citizens?
As far as cages are concerned, they are practical, low cost solution to a major new flood of potential immigrants to the United States, perhaps as instigated by the Radical Left for political purposes. The likely Radical Left motive would be to use these immigrants as a source of votes, not for humanitarian reasons.
Take a look at long term Democratically controlled slums in our major cities to see how much they really care for their citizens or how well their policies actually work in the real world.
Characterizing the separation of parents and children as Nazism is inappropriate because we don't send them into force labor camps or worse. Many of these children's parents made the choice to attempt to cross the border of a foreign country through illegitimate means. Although many of these families may have been encouraged by the Radical Left to make the border crossing attempt, the consequences, at least for now, rest completely the with parents.
By the way, how are some of these South American families making it through Mexican customs? A little help from the Radical Leftists, perhaps?
Children and the word Nazi have long been used to evoke emotional sympathy to a cause. Indeed, photos of Hitler with a child sitting on his lap has been used in Nazi propaganda.
This is especially true when there are few rational arguments in support of an unpopular open border policy among the citizens of a country.
