Or maybe some people think that importing the worst people from the worst part of the world isn't a very good long term strategy considering our social services are at a breaking point, our legal system is over burdened with criminals, and we have seen that the diversity experiment is really just a wedge to divide us further apart. Of course this assumes that we want a nation that prospers. If you're trying to collapse a society, then importing the worst from the worst is a fantastic strategy.

Except our system is reasonably decent at vetting so not really.
Sure some psychos will make it through the cracks, but just like in Nevada, we don't punish responsible gun owners for the actions of others.

Our system sucks at vetting. It's more of a ask me no difficult questions I'll tell you no lies process. It's silly and dangerous to keep dredging the bottom of the barrel for new immigrants, when so many others are better suited.
