No, the only reason its news is because he's an actor. Matt Drudge use to be an entertainment reporter and is enamored with anything Hollywood. That's why it's there. I guess I should re-phrase my question and say is it important? BTW, more breaking news, Madonna is giving up on studying Kaballah.

Mav's point seems to be that this isn't news that people like him care about. It seems pretty clear to me that when he asked 'is this really news', he meant isn't this the same type of news that Brittany's dog' anal infection would be? Brittany's dog's anal infection is clearly news, isn't it?

Given the fact that you are the OP and the thread's most active participant and that you have in fact posted supplementary stories relating to the incident, it would seem that you are the type of person for whom Gibson's arrest is 'need to know' news.

True, this shit happens every day in HollyWeird. However you missed an important fact, Mel has been in the cross hairs of the zionist establishment in Hollyweird for 2 reasons. 1) his movie "passion of the christ" was a block buster, but the zionists did'nt make shit from it because he financed it himself and kept all the rights
