MegaRaid Storage Manager Error Message

I received the following error messages upon loading various programmes after startup.

Can anyone tell me what could be the problem and what I should do in such an instance?

Where are you getting these error messages? Are you going into system managment and reading an error log, or is something coming up on the screen?

What symptoms occur along with the error messages? Is something locking up?

Error message comes up on screen in the middle of it all. Thereafter existing files are not recognised by Sierra Charts, so chart won't load.

In a simple windows system I would look to fix the registry, but this is a raid setup.
 
That's indicating a physical disk failure or r/w error for virtual drive 1. Fire up the MegaRAID utility to get more info on which disk it is.

If the volume has redundancy (e.g. it's not RAID level 0), you'll need to replace the bad disk and rebuild the volume. Depending on the controller, the data may or may not be available during rebuild.

These are the errors I've seen in the MegaRAID utility (newest to oldest).

I managed to find the Dell PERC User Guide, and for physical disk errors the recommendation is to contact Tech Support. I intend to do that after the New Year Holiday, because since this event I have been getting random errors in Sierra Charts, but only in one installed copy (I have a total of 5) so that tells me there is an issue only where that copy is located.
 
Just an update for those who were kind enough to respond, and a heads up to anyone else who is reading this.

Over the holidays I discovered Dell PC Diagnostics. Did a complete system scan and the HDD failed the linear read test due to a cluster of bad sectors. This was the cause of the MegaRAID Storage Manager warnings / alerts. Had the option to upload the test results to Dell and the response was "Critical Hardware Maintenance - Replace Hard Drive".

Called Dell Thailand Support yesterday for NBD on-site warranty support. Usual nightmare dealing with local support, unfortunately the 24/7 pro-support which I am entitled to has a non-functioning number.

Tech came today and replaced the HDD but had no idea how to configure RAID or initialise the disk or allocate it a drive letter. He was relying on the tech in the call centre to give him directions, and I was finding out stuff from the net faster using my iPad than they were figuring it out.

There is a general belief that with RAID 0, if you have a problem with one disk, you lose everything. Well, that may be the case if you have a disk crash, but bad sectors on 1 disk and the disk replacement DO NOT mean you lose it all. At one point they wanted to configure RAID from scratch, and initialise the C drive. I stopped them, refused to allow that to happen, kept at it until they finally configured just the new drive.

Well, the OS was intact, all the charting installations plus TWS and everything else (utilities, etc) on C drive were fine, the only thing I had to do was restore the D drive and everything worked normally.

So, if you ever have a similar issue with 1 non-OS drive in a RAID 0 setup, do not give up on the other.
