How convenient. A new variant arrives on the scene, much more deadly of course, and bonus points, is especially deadly to young people, who coincidentally are not all that keen on getting vaccinated against what for them is a case of the sniffles. Love it when a plan comes together

We are watching evolution in real time. As this virus mutates the fittest version will survive and thrive. The variants becoming more contagious are overtaking the less contagious versions and the versions able to survive in younger people have access to a host source others do not.

I get the science is hard so I will give you a pass but this is predictable. It’s the message behind getting to herd immunity before this thing evolves into something worse and worse.
