In my opinion the high risk should seriously consider getting vaccinated or getting themselves out of the high risk category.... if they are able and they speak with their doctor.

And yet the number of Covid children deaths nationwide have increased by 33% in a mere eight week period. The children hospitalizations are way up. Pediatric ICUs are out of space and filled with children with Covid. Not a pretty situation The highly infectious Delta variant greatly changes the situation of the unvaccinated --- including children.

I will also mention your talking point that it only matters if the children are dead is absurd.

To be precise, Covid Delta Variant is targeting younger adults that are not vaccinated and children that are not vaccinated. Children are not at fault because those that are supposed to protect them and within the children's environment (those the children live with) are not vaccinated.

• We all know that one of the best ways to protect high-risk groups is to surround them with vaccinated people versus surrounding them with people not vaccinated if the high-risk groups are not vaccinated.

In fact, our hospitals are nearing capacity primarily of patients that are not vaccinated.

Simply, to the hospitals, this is a Pandemic for the Unvaccinated.
