As far as having a thicker indicator. I like them thick so they act somewhat like a filter. My goal is to have different thickness levels on the moving averages so that I can have a thick(maybe set at 6) slow moving average on top of a thin (maybe a 3) fast moving average so that it filters out some of the crossovers. The fast moving average would then be hidden behind the slow one during non volatile periods.

But by all means, I need the price on top of everything. I would think this would be simple to program or at least have the option to put price on top.

Apparently many of your users put more faith in indicators than I do.

The price takes up more vertical space than the indicator so it is visible if its behind the indicators. Unless of course you set the indicator thickness so it is overbearing, but then it would seem that the indicator is in fact more important to you. If you are setting the indicator thickness to 6, the chart looks like something drawn with crayons. Whether the price is in front or behind seems to be the least of the problems at that point.

I like the fact that in the indicator selection box, the first indicator you enter is the one on the very bottom of the "layers" and each indicator you enter after that is placed on top of the preceding one. Maybe "price" could be an classified as an indicator and I could enter that last?

I dont like all my indicators thick. I do like to have a thick slow moving average on top of a fast thin moving average. Again, the thick one is used as a filter.

I'd like to have a little thicker price bars but there is no adjustment for them either.

Just because something can be done, doesn't mean it should be done. We can add every conceivable control to QT. Thats simple to do. The problem is that doing so complicates things. Rember KISS?

By the way.

Good help files is the answer. But I have yet to find anyone besides myself who has the ability to communicate by example (an experienced trader needs to do this) in help files. This is costly, time consuming and a relentlessly methodical task to perform for a vendor. Scenarios and combinations need to be given in each help file with snapshots. It is hard to cover each scenario but if done correctly the user can "find his/her way".

No I am not asking for employment...

Been thinking about this and am trying to recall any software Ive had that puts the price on top. Ive used most all of them but dont recall whether you can do this with any of them. Which ones have you used that can do this?
