I thought that you were quoting a Wizetrade commerical there for a second.

lol!:D

Quote from version77:

Here are some quotes from the start of myminitrading's journal. See if it sounds like he is a "professional" trader to you:

"I am starting this thread to hold myself accountable. I have followed the markets since November 1999. I have not been a total success nor have I been a total failure.

I struggle with discipline, and I struggle with my emotions.

I have been using the same method for several years.

I can do this, I know I can."

This was posted in his journal on 4-18-06 in his first post of his
journal.

Here is a link to it:

http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=67537&perpage=6&pagenumber=1

I guess he is just another wannabe who was looking for some "cheaper"
software so he could save money. And failed at figuring out how to
use QuoteTracker.

Definitely not a professional. A joke maybe... LOL...:p

P.S. Funny how these (in his case, over 7 years) wannabes have to
run around taking out their crap on anything they can find available.

Here is some more of his posting from his journal around
the time he entered this thread. Maybe he is having mental problems:

"05-25-06 10:41 AM

I have noticed as of late, my temperament has changed I have become more aggressive towards other posters here. This is not like me at all, I have always been laid back easy going. This is quite disturbing and it has me worried.

I think the best thing to do is take that vacation."

Here is why he might be freaking out. A response to someone else in his thread:

"Why dont you post some trades? dont be shy, step up and hold yourself accountable in front of 50,000. It does wonders."

I guess you get the picture. He also states he wants to take the
summer off to be with his kids. He obviously needs a break from trading...:p

He is at the breaking point and doesn't know what to
do about it. I hope he doesn't crack...

P.S. myminitrading.... If you are still struggling with your emotions
and discipline after 7+ years you might want to hang it up.

You don't have to be ashamed to give up the game.

It's better than ending up in a mental hospital.

Thanks myminitrading...

Good thing you have a sense of humor.. lol... Enjoy your cowboy
movies tonight and say hi to John Wayne for me. One of my
personalities says he used to know him...lol...

And do you really listen to Glen Campbell while trading? Or was
that Wayne Newton... lol...:p

As Confucius once said... Those who can trade have humour.

And those who cannot blame it on any $7 software they can find...:p

How can I view emini futures on quote tracker without an account anywhere? Is there a public free data feed that quote tracker uses for emini? I want to follow the ES for a bit.

I don't know of any "free" data feed for the emini's that you can
use in QuoteTracker but if you open an account with IB you can
get data for $10 a month...

there are no free RT sources for futures that do not require a brokerage account. If you do not have an account with a broker supported in QT and/or do not want to open one, your other optin is to get a subscription datafeed such as IQFeed, eSignal, Prophet (refer to http://www.quotetracker.com/qsources.shtml for URLs)

Hi Jerry,

I was wondering is there any documentation on being able to customize the charts? I've seen Woodies CCI custom paintbar stuff applied to Quotetracker using the .INI and .XML files.

Just wondering if there are any resources I could read to get started.

Thanks!

BTW, Quotetracker Rocks!

First let me say cudos on this wonderful piece of trading software. Mr. Medved, I was wondering if QT can do spread charts or ratio charts (one security or index devided by another)? If not, would it be possible to include this in a future release? I remember Tradestation 2000i being able to do this, but my copy was lost years ago, and I've grown attached to your program.

Thanks, and keep up the good work!:D
