I see....

The other ten states that use their own eligibility guidelines are even stricter than the SSA. Moving to one of these states could result in a denial of Medicaid coverage. These states are:

  • Connecticut
  • Hawaii
  • Illinois
  • Minnesota
  • Missouri
  • New Hampshire
  • North Dakota
  • Ohio
  • Oklahoma
  • Virginia

Interesting. Do you get a 1099?

Dodd-Frank is on its way out anyways...we shall see. But I will never trade Forex again. I wasted a good part of my life trying to put up with unregulated feeds and dealers controlling the purse strings, quotes ..etc

Yes you can. Since the investors money you will trade is in Europe, US regulations have no jurisdiction outside the USA. Yes, I called the NFA, and they said in that instance, I do not need to be registered with CFTC or NFA.

No 1099 since the business is in Europe. They pay out through PayPal, and that is the only thing I could use to figure out how much taxes I would owe. I have an account with Forex.com in USA. Never had any problem with them. Just never had enough money in the account to make it worthwhile.

So you have Foreign Income...Pay Pal being the third party may have reporting requirements...hmmmm.

PayPal reports to IRS if you have 200 or more transactions. This is to track Ebay sellers and make sure they pay their taxes on profits. FTMO pays out once per month. I wouldn't know if I would owe taxes in Europe. If I keep my profits under $880 per month, the only taxes I would be paying are the Social Security payroll tax. I don't think I would make enough to pay income taxes.

Here is my first trade on FTMO. Short gbpnzd. Closed out the majority earlier and have a smallish position to hold for a few more days.
