Can you do this from the USA? really? Are you an independent contractor? With SSDI you gotta watch your income.

I understand if you do not want to answer...pm me

Thanks, I'm on SSDI and don't have at lot of money. My live account opened Aug. 15 turned $80 into $103.

On SSDI, you can work and make up to $880 per month and not lose your benefits. You just need to tell them you're attempting work. Keep my trading profits under $880 per month and there is no problem. I've called SSA personally, and the rep told me if I make less than $880 per month, they don't care. It is not enough to be considered gainful employment. Although certainly, I will have to pay taxes.

Sounds like a plan...Hope you do not make too much...lol Can't believe I said that!

Here's much of my cycle analysis. I already have trades in the future planned out. I just don't know where price will be at the time a trade would be considered. Click on jpg link and you can zoom in.

The company who promotes this, FTMO, they have a $100k account you can try to qualify for. I may give it a shot, but it costs about $700 fee to join the Challenge for that one. The possibility of making $5k or more per month would get me thinking about giving up my benefits.

Think real hard before doing that...You cannot have any assets (assuming you have Medicaid) but you can put it in your Wife's Roth IRA and just trade your own money...You can make up to $1,220.00 in AZ but I think it is Federal and it should be the same everywhere and adjusted yearly.

Yes you can. Since the investors money you will trade is in Europe, US regulations have no jurisdiction outside the USA. Yes, I called the NFA, and they said in that instance, I do not need to be registered with CFTC or NFA.

You are correct. Doing that would be more stressful if I lost my dependable benefits. On the smaller account, I would retain Medicare.

I can trade my own money, in which it would be taxed as capital gains which has no bearing on Social Security. It would be nice to build up some savings and then trade my own money, and I can make a much as I want and not lose SSDI. Just to add a new thought, I could do this FTMO and trade my own account at the same time. No limitations on my own account.
