The question that occurs to me is - why don't you want to go see a doctor? You can get an X-Ray and take a look at the break and know if things are okay or if it's shaping up to give you ongoing problems.

The main reason was that it was the weekend, and my only choices were the ER or an urgent care clinic further away. My dog just had surgery on Monday, and I can't leave her alone for an extended period; I figured going to one of those places on the weekend would mean a long wait.

I figured I would make an appointment with my Dr. this week for him to check it out, but in the meantime I solicited advice from fellow ET'ers.
