I do agree, actually, and I read with interest some ideas for making national healthcare incentivize doctors to prevent disease and promote health in their patients. But this type of idea is still way too "pie in the sky" (no pun) in this country.

You people don't seem to realize that democrats really don't give a crap about the people losing their coverage, etc. Most of those people never voted democrat. How can I say that? Because they are employed, work in the private sector and made enough money to have health coverage. Democrats only get about 30% tops of those kinds of voters, and in many parts of the country more like 20%.

Their audience is public sector workers, particularly teachers, rich urban elites, blacks and hispanic immigrants. They either have coverage that is not affected or didn't have it at all and love the idea of hard-working, middle class white people paying for their insurance.

Two of my father’s doctors no longer see Medicare patients. That’s the trend in California and apparently it’s spreading across the country.

My question is why haven't WE Patriots tried and hanged the tyrants in DC, and gotten America back to America? Our Founding Fathers would deal with us 1st for our in-action, then the DC tyrants later...
