It seems, not that long ago the unwanted were the Irish, the Italians, the Jews, the Eastern Europeans.... Like those, the majority of this new generation of immigrants are actually productive citizens, in CA at least, where they happily accept jobs that locals won't take. And you won't see many of them in homeless camps around LA.
CA has tons of problems but when I see, day in day out, those unwanted by Texas, working their butt off to build a better life for themselves, I see hope that somehow we can make it work.
Who moved out? Heaven forbid, my fellow Republicans? Is that why our ranks are thinning fast.
You also mentioned those who made their billions in CA but are taking their billions to Texas. They are so stingy they won't even leave a few bread crumbs to the state that made them their billions?
America used to be generous, giving and compassionate.
