Let me provide my thoughts on the inauguration crowd size.
First let me say that IMO it is obvious that the size of the crowd at Obama's inauguration was bigger than Trump's.
However the initial media photo showing a comparison of the inauguration crowds were clearly taken at different times. It appears the Trump photo was taken at least an hour earlier than the Obama photo. This means the initial media comparison photos were a deliberate fake that were politicized.
The recent release of the National Park Service photos have brought some clarity to the situation. Obama's inauguration crowd was clearly larger at equivalent times; however the earlier media photo comparison was also clearly fudged in regards to time frame.

BTW... for those who forget this is the photo presented by the media claiming to represent the exact same time a little before noon at both inaugurations. Obviously based on the real-time media film coverage, this photo is a fraud.
