Measuring pulse or heart rate while trading ?

do you hear jazz or classical music (Mozart, Bach e.g.) when trading or always 100% silent environment at all, what do you mean here ?

Well, do what you want to do. I'm not preaching my one and only perspective as the best.
I personally find all classical music painful to listen to. Terribly annoying and dramatic. It's like caffeine for the mind.

I constantly have two large fans spinning in my room, I like the wind moving and circulating...I kind of find that background noise relaxing, while others may consider it annoying and loud.

With healthy eating you mean only minerals (enough salt and water) + vitamins or ketogenic eating ? Because it reduces the blood sugar levels and you have more constant energy when you do keto (tried it already).
Second question about noise, do you hear jazz or classical music (Mozart, Bach e.g.) when trading or always 100% silent environment at all, what do you mean here ?

i seriously would like some pointers on nutrition as i'm a sugar addict. if i could get this fixed i know i need to. been trying zinc to control the urges.

i settled on female vocal trance music, seems to be my favorite or total silence is good also.

For the discretionary traders especially does it help you (or did you ever try it) to measure your pulse (heart beat) when you make trading decisions ? I could imagine that high pulse is a sign of stress and not good when holding a position or entering a new one. But it might be different to every person, so I would like to know some experiences.

If you get a blood pressure / heart monitor for whatever reason (e.g. you have a underlying medical condition and its recommended by your Doctor)...

Get a Omron Watch or something similar that monitors your blood pressure/pulse while you're doing your daily activities. Thus, you want something that stores memory and it takes your health statistics automatically during the day without you needing to manually do it.
I know an institutional trader in Chicago that wears one. He had a heart attack early in the Pandemic after recovering from a Covid-19 infection. Apparently, he had developed heart problems and other issues with his health even though he had recovered from a Covid infection.

Here's something else, Omron was recommended to him by the owner of his favorite restaurant that wears one too and that owner is also a marathon runner. The owner had anxiety attacks in 2021 about his restaurant business during this Pandemic.

Otherwise you get tired on a heavy meal at lunch in the early afternoon, which I assume is not so good for (discretionary) trading or ?

Trading is a stressful activity, there is no doubt about that.
Everyone and every profession is stressful.

But I think what is more important, is a person's ability to mitigate and minimize and control and handle stress in a healthy, controlled, fashion. Some people kick walls and chairs or throw things or yell...you don't want that to be you. You want healthy, normal, outlets of tension and stress relief.
Coffee, caffeine, irregular sleep patterns, junk food, alcohol, all will only increase your stress levels and coping skills.
I know it sounds cliche, but you should really eat healthy foods. and eliminate junk foods, completely. Don't overeat.
Walk, run, jog or bike and lift some moderate weights consistently regularly, and stretch and breathe too.
Sip caffeine-free teas.

Don't binge watch bs movies and tv shows and music. Don't fill your mind with noise, hype, nonsense, poison and clutter.
There's a neighborhood Calico cat that crosses my room window several times a week. Just seeing it's face, eyes, and coat...makes me smile, and calms me. Everyone should consider getting a pet...that makes them smile, and calms them.

Cats dont do much for me; but i do like big cats[mountain lions...]+ small birds.
3 cups+/ coffee help me/heart hi races can signal too much.
It's scary also , i remember when i was kid @ zoo/ lion roar can race heart too much 'till one gets used to that or has a .30-06.
In TX lions are considered varmints:D:DGet rich quick can hurt heart + hurt bank account; i dont know if that has anything to do with heart rate, it may or may not.[Edit i'm careful of my music; i like Gold City, R Taff/Gaither Group , G Jones.....]

Try Shilajit (pure black) and mushroom based coffee substitutes. Total game changer if you develop a taste for them (very earthy.)

Have you tried fruit for when the sugar craving hits?
The natural sugars of the fruit slowly slowly will help cut down on processed sugars. Also slowly reducing any sugar in tea or coffees and appreciate the bitterness.
Chocolate is a different story, try to go dark if you are into it.

i like dried fruits but i guess i need to make whatever i try doesn't have added sugars. i do think the zinc has help curb some of my cravings. i tried that dark chocolate before it's not for me lol.

Are there any post covid symptoms I need to be aware of ? Because I had no covid so far and I am vaccined 4 times now too. I heard you can get easily tired when doing tasks (afterwards a covid infection) and significant percentage of persons who had covid suffer on post-symptoms for a longer time period (but it basically seems kind of never ending of such symptoms or ?). Anyone has experience or heard of in his/her near environment ? Or is it over now with the new latest variant because it is no more that severe and with vaccined people there is no (none to very little) risk on suffering post-covid-symptoms ?

The point is that you shouldn't push yourself. No amount of money can replace your health. If you feel stressed out, either take time off or reassess your trading strategy.

Thanks, but I do not want to replace my daily dose of coffee, because I read recent scientific study in a high impact journal that 2 or 3 cups coffee every day is good for the heart and longevity. So it is good to drink coffee every day. But do ask me about all the details in the study now.
