Hi all -

It looks like Marijuana wave 2.0 is about to come based on the charts in the industry. Just wondering your thoughts. It looks like a lot of the sub-$1 MJ stocks gained a 100s to 1000s of percent the last couple quarters of 2016. Maybe 2017 will see a big boom? What do you think?

There's penny stocks, ....and then there's PENNY stocks.
The good news is the float is only 1.5 Billion shares. :D

Yeah but look at that big triangle, looks like it's going to breakout like the rest of the industry. Notwithstanding its price and float, it still looks like it should move (and has over the last couple quarters).
 
You might want to consider BLOZF........they are in the process of getting a breathalyzer approved for use by the police. Apparently there is nothing available that detects marijuana the way breathalyzers detect alcohol.

It's a long term risk (1-2 Years) but so is everything else.

There is one major problem I have with this idea, and that is the fact that marijuana is a fat-soluble compound. This means that even after the effects of the drug have worn off the brain, and the person is completely cognizant and ready to drive a car, the presence of THC may still show up in their blood, for DAYS after their impairment has worn off. (For some people, weeks.)

This is a serious problem that is going to crop up as we go forward with the liberation of minds everywhere. And the Millenials (hehe, those silly buggers) are the ones who have not thought this through.

Everyone, old and new, is so stupid on this issue. You CANNOT equate DUI from alcohol with DUI from marijuana. They are two totally different compounds, affect the human physiology in radically-different ways, and simply cannot be measured the same way to come to any conclusions about THC impairment.

Watch for the conundrums of this coming in the next 2-3 years rearing it's ugly head.

You heard it here first, ladies and gentlemen.

You may not be correct on that.
Roadside saliva tests go back 4-6 hours. And have a cutoff level of 25ng/ml THC.

Dude knows his stuff. And anything can be beaten in court.
Breathalyzers for alcohol have been around for 50 years... but they still get invalidated everyday in court by sharp lawyers. Soooo.

Anyway who cares. I'd short the whole weed growing sector.

Dallas's post is the play... be it this company or someone else. Roadside detection is where its at.

In thinking about it, you are correct.

Breathalyzers have been challenged forever, but every police department has one now, whether they are accurate or not.

Ergo, Dallas is likely correct. Even with all the new laws coming down about weed becoming legal, the municipalities will just buy these new machines, whether or not THEY are also accurate and do the job they are "supposed to do."

But I have to disagree here on this...

That does not seem to ring true in analysis. As weed gets more and more accepted in the country, there will be more shops that will be able to sell the product, which will increase demand, so the "weed-growing-sector", if it is tradable, should start rising. No?
