The World Motor Sport Council has decided to exclude McLaren-Mercedes from the 2007 and 2008 Formula One world championship.
 
An unhappy Ferrari dude gave McLaren a dude Ferrari design documents and the powers that be say that McLaren used them. Stolen secrets in other words.

Now it's being reported that the committee only "proposed" that McLaren be excluded that the *actual* punishment may differ.

Now there saying they will be fined 100m dollars & they are to be excluded for 2007.

Drivers are not affected.
