McDonald's settles suit over franchises allegedly cheating workers
McDonald’s said it wouldpay $3.75 million to settlea federal lawsuit involving five Bay Area franchises, marking the first time that the corporation had agreed to pay workers for violations in a franchise owner's store. Anything to cut corners even though a "VALUE" meal is still $10.58........amazing how much corporate greed is out there....disgusting.....they settled that lawsuit real quick....wonder how much the lawyers are getting? Probably 92% of that $3+ million.

Exactly...and my gosh, these people are getting paid so little in the first place.

Especially considering how hard their work is - handling food safely requires a lot of effort, they're on foot all day, and on top of everything else they have to deal with hot plates and vats of hot oil in a crowded kitchen. It's disgraceful to be exploited like this.
