the Oak Brook, IL.-based company posted net income of $1.24 billion, or $1.47 per share (up 18% year over year) on revenue of $5.67 billion, which beat Thomson Reuters consensus estimates that called for $1.33 in EPS and revenue of $5.53 billion. The measures compare to the year-ago quarter when the company earned $1.33 per share on $5.9 billion in revenue.
