Are you an American? Are you a human being living on this planet? American don't call MCD food shit, at least not in front of the world. It's an insult. MCD is a symbol of America to the world. MCD made money for America. MCD gives livings to a great deal of people around the world.

All I asked was the super size on the damn menu and priced cheap.

All this stuff is poison...there is no doubt about that. You can be a rebel... "they can't tell me what to eat"....but if you eat this crap you will most likely end up with heart disease.

This picture is of filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, who made the movie Supersize It! that was recently shown at the Sundance Film Festival. He ended up in the hospital with liver and other medical problems after eating 3 meals a day at McDonalds for a month for his movie.

"He was an extremely healthy person who got very sick eating this McDonald's diet. None of us imagined he could deteriorate this badly - he looked terrible. The liver test was the most shocking thing - it became very, very abnormal."

I suspect his ailment was a hoax or induced for other reasons to pump his movie.

Plenty of MCD workers eat nothing but MCD...as they get a discount, and that is all they can afford.

QDZ no offense buddy. Do you know that MCD uses the lowest grade meat? The company cut down thousands of acres of pristine forest to feed you.

I find everything about he company disgusting. As an American I'm embarrassed by MCD's international acknowledgement. They are shamefull and only unfortunately represent the US.

I don't know how one cannot be repulsed by MCD, they're the worst of the worst in every way. Look how much paper and plastic is wasted in order to feed you one of those entrail sandwiches. Going into a MCD restaurant is a more violent experience than going into an abatoir.

MCD is not alone. Most all of the chains like Carl's Junior, Burger King, Taco Bell, Jack In The Box, etc serve people what they want...huge portions of unhealthy food devoid of nutrients. Meals like these spike blood triglicerides and fat levels and are linked to obesity and disease. One of those "big deal meals" often has over 100 grams of fat and over 53 teaspoons of sugar. And this is just for lunch!

About the only fast food place I will eat at is Subway. I can control what goes on the sandwich, I usually get a 6" Turkey on wheat, no cheese, fat free sauce, very heavy on all the veggies. I take a piece of fruit to eat with it (some great pears are in season right now), and have a bottle of spring water.
