You are right. Market is in all time high. What will happen if(when) there is a market correction? I am patient.http://www.netleaseadvisor.com/tenant.php?t=12
4% cap rate that's probably for a 20 year lease. You think Calper's is willing to get a 4%
yield on their $$$ if its gonna be out of business, if MCD ain't around it will be due to a nuclear war. Stock is sideways this is like selling puts on MSFT, nothing to see here.![]()
Yes I do live in US. I don't disagree on SS. many things might go away before MCD. I cannot time which one will go first.Do you live in the States?
Social Security will go away before MCD does.

I agree MSFT is in some sense like MCD. A mature and stable company. However MSFT is a kind of unique (at least now). Almost all PCS except mac and Linux boxes use MSFT operating system. They have income from ad, search engine, cloud service, email account and many PC software.I am not disputing whether the stock should be higher or lower. Its just your title that MCD may not exist in 5 years. I really have no opinion of the stock either way. The company itself is
to me a lot like MSFT, very mature, growth?. Like Handle 123 said this appears to be going sideways maybe look at straddles, how about a shitty hamburger pair trade long SHAK short MCD.![]()
MCD has not cut a dividend in like 36 years.Decided to look up the history. 2/28/2008. Big cut. 1.50 to .35c. That's a brutal cut. Possibility is there.
MCD has not cut a dividend in like 36 years.
The "cut" you refer to is from 1.50 annual dividend to .38 per Q for 3 Qs then it became .50 per Q and onward.
Please be more careful with your wild claims.
