McCain's VP Pick

A pick that shows another bad judgement by McCain.

Mc is 72 years old so he needed some strong hand to back him, just in case.

Mc does not want to win!

Obama should be just fine if he does not roll the whole economy into Socialism and takes it little easy on Healthcare plans. Cut defense a little, and not get too gung ho on healthcare. Keep a focused eye on balancing the budgets and keeping good terms with the world. US ship can still be saved and like Obama said yesterday "US is better than this".

She's not any less qualified or inexperienced than Obama, and she will at least have 4 years of grooming before having her hand on the trigger.

Good choice, in my opinion. She is a fiscal conservative, which is something that most Republicans aren't

Other countries have had female heads... Indira Ghandi, Margaret Thatcher, Venazir Bhutto (Packistani)... but America ain't going for it I suspect..

The pick puts McCains judgement into question. It's an act of desperation when there was no need to be so. Obama barely got a bump this week. The Hilda beast followers will not follow suit. Obama in a landslide.

This pick is insane. Since McCain's so old, the VP should be qualified to take his position in case he dies. She may be the least qualified candidate!

"In case he dies" !?!? I think it's a sure bet that he will not make it out of the first term.

We, (progressive Democrats) really need to push the 'age' issue of McCain and couple it with the lack of experience in the VP. This selection makes me wonder if he's senile already or just trying to throw the election which is his to lose.

I don't know if it will sway women voters; I think he must be aiming for the gun fag vote.

Might be a good choice if Americans "voted with their head"... but we don't. We vote with our wallets.

There is no reason why a woman would not make as good a Prez as a man. Nevertheless, we ain't voting for one.

The Obama's lack of experience issue has been resolved by President Clinton last Wednesday's speech, President Clinton was young too in 1992. And now surprisingly, the Republican has resolved the issue themselves for Obama that they had been repeatedly attacking him about lack of experience. From now, they can no longer attack Obama on this issue since they too have VP's lack of experience. :D

kills 3 birds w one stone.
1. shores up the right wing
2. picks up 1/4 of the hillary vote.
3.contrary to these pundits on CNN. I think it forces people to think about the experience issue... hmmmm. Should I vote for a ticket where the # 2 has a thin resume or where the # 1 has a thin resume.

For everything you hear on the news, talk radio, blogs, and comments on the Internet, what it really comes down to is this:

If you are happy with what has happened over the past eight years - happy with the economy, happy with Americans dying in a war that was entered into based on lies, happy with the continuing influence of religious zealots telling you how you must live your life - what you can and cannot do, happy with the way we treat the less fortunate in our country, happy with our standing in the world and the way we are viewed by people outside the U.S., and happy with electing someone who will (most likely) not be alive in 10+ years to face the consequences of his decisions...if you are happy with all of that, vote for McCain.

If you are not, vote for Obama.
