Actually, that sounds like an illness that spreads to many politicians of all ages and parties...usually becoming very contagious around election time

A, there have been much fewer Democratic presidents during the last 25 years.

B, we have had mostly Democratic congresses during that time.

C, Dems have this funny belief that W was the reason we lost the "Clinton" surplus. Funny, they probably believe Clinton in the White House would have protected against 9/11. Many Reps believe Clinton was too chicken to go after Bin Laden in time and left us much more vulnerable.
