While the affair became known as the "Keating Five" scandal, none of the other members of the Senate and House implicated in the ethics violations, were as closely tied to Keating as John McCain.

I remembered him as being one of the "Keating five" and wonder if/when more will be made of it given the current sub-prime mess and RE meltdown. Perhaps its a case of "He who is without sin".....none of the candidates is without some skeleton somewhere.
too be honest, i used to like mccain (due to the war hero thing) and was pissed that bush beat him in 2000..........then he started taking cheap shots at ron paul...........then i saw the following two videos............and now i can never trust the guy..........he's just another piece of shit cfr candidate like everyone else.....
