In any case, most constitution scholars have offered the opinion that being borned on a US military base while either of your parents were in the employment of US military allows the child to be designated a 'natural born' American.

The constitution should be amended to say 'natural born' is someone borned of US parents and who has never taken citizenship of another country.

It is interesting that Obama was borned in Hawaii and if he were borned a few years earlier, he would have been borned into a US territory and not a US state (Hawaii became the 50th state in August 21, 1959).

Not surprising republicants would vote for someone foreign born, republicans have NO respect for the constitution. If the argument is a military base is indeed american soil then why have gitmo? Why arent they entitled to the same rights since the base in cuba is a usa military base so in fact its the usa.
If Mccain selects huckabee or paul I will vote mccain, although I do feel he is to old. Its quite shocking the amount of senior citizens that are in positions of power and leadership in the congress.
How are we going to get new ideas from a person who cant email or text message some one? These people are looking back,,we need someone looking forwards.
I would expect with the election of a republican a doubling once again of the national debt and a continuing policy of the pesofication of the american dollar.
My party has abandoned its principles and Im upset about it. Its time for term limits in congress,,,
