McCain Adviser: McCain helped create Blackberry "miracle"

Well, yesterday McCain had his Herbert "fundamentals are strong" Hoover moment. Today he is having his Al "inventor of the Internet" Gore moment.

"Waving his BlackBerry personal digital assistant and citing McCain's work as a senator, he told reporters Tuesday, "You're looking at the miracle that John McCain helped create."

McCain helped create the Blackberry!!! Bwhahaha. The wheels are coming off his campaign now. The Straight Talk express skidding off the tracks day by day. They are clearly off their game since last week.

In McCain's statement, he said:

"I am the former chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation. The Committee plays a major role in the development of technology policy, specifically any legislation affecting communications services, the Internet, cable television and other technologies. Under my guiding hand, Congress developed a wireless spectrum policy that spurred the rapid rise of mobile phones and Wi-Fi technology that enables Americans to surf the web while sitting at a coffee shop, airport lounge, or public park."

So he invented cell phones and wifi, on top of blackberries.

Too bad he voted against the Telecom Act of 1996, which laid the foundation for the internet boom. He has no other accomplishment related to the wireless communication to speak of.

Kind of reminds me of primitive cultures who think everything is a miracle...

Of course, for the Bible based McBush worshipers, it can't be agnostic science that improves material life, it has to be some miracle of God...
 
Well, way back when, fire was a probably considered a miracle to the early cave dwellers. I guess to a guy who can't use a computer or send an email the Blackberry would look like a miracle too.
