McCabe is beginning to sweat a little- maybe even more than a little

Interesting. I wonder whether he looked to the Awan brothers for how to get money out of the US before leaving!

Rosenstein is busy overseeing the independent counsel he appointed to investigate why Trump fired Comey. Rosenstein is also a principal witness in that case because he gave Trump a letter recommending that he fire Comey.

They do things funny over at the DOJ.

Beautiful. The process of the swamp trying to cannibalize each other to survive is well under way.

There is more than a small bit of irony in watching McCabe argue that the DOJ is withholding documents he needs to protect himself simply because the FBI is trying to cover their arse. How does it feel Andy? You are on the wrong end of the swamp you helped create now.

And since I did a full rap on this recently, I will keep it short but regular viewers know that as much as I have no use for McCabe, I fully support letting him lawyer up criminally and for civil suits to protect what rights he thinks he has. Of course, I say this knowing that he wants to defend himself by continuing to argue that Comey is lying and gave him permission to leak to the press. Go for it. Not to be missed.

Don't expect things to get better after the IG's report comes out Thursday.

McCabe's lawyer, David Snyder, maintains in a new lawsuit that the dismissal violated federal law and departed from rules and policies. But he said authorities have refused to turn over materials related to McCabe's disciplinary process.

"Those requests have been denied by some of the same high-ranking officials who were involved in, or responsible for, the investigation, adjudication, and/or dismissal of Mr. McCabe," the legal complaint said.
