MBA US vs Asia

Executive MBAs are really only ego boosters anyway...most financial firms actually prefer to train you themselves and like if you have a CFA. Not sure the ROI on MBAs is even worth it.

CFA is a waste of time.
mother of hope for OPS/Back office employee....
Executive MBAs are always sponsored by employers, and you are absolutely right they are solely ego boosters...

not from the average paychecks they make....$750k avg after 10 years work experience....I think it would be considerably lower if they were all back office and ops employees...

CFA is a joke, and if it wasnt for the recent surge in applications from India/China and failed daytraders in the US they would be going out of business soon, nobody in their right mind wants to study for these exams.

I feel sorry for people in emerging markets going into debt to sit in for these exams thinking it will somehow get them a late night earnings reporter job for Reuters in Bangalore...

Oops someone is pulling the plug on this scam already...

"CFA Exams in India Face Cancellation
In a stunning setback for the CFA Institute that could have ramifications for the CFA designation itself, an Indian regulator suspended operation of the CFA program... "
