MB Trading

Quote from MBT-Steve:

Fattburger....

We do NOT charge data fees for forex.

With regards to futures.........

We do pass through data fees from the exchanges if minimums are not met. The purpose for these minimums is so that we can cover our cost of the exchange fees.

We dont have any delays in data. I assume you are referring to some past sporadic data issues but that was long ago.

We dont have a seat on CME but rather use GHCO since they are part of our clearing firm, Penson. By way of GHCO membership we are direct.

So everything I said is true. I never said you charge for FX data. FX is not traded on an exchange.

Steve

I think Steve has cleared up the futures issue, Burger.

If you have a problem with their futures arm, post it in the Futures section of this forum.

I posted this thread in the FX section for a reason. Let's concentrate on FX please!

Thank you.

I don’t see moderator next to your name.

MBT Steve if you new your stuff you would tell me and anyone else here about the CME exchange wavier program with eSignal and how they waive your exchange fees with certain brokers MB partners with so your not double billed.

But since you have no clue about the company you work for I guess I just did it for you.

And to the guy with the foul mouth...grow up.

1. I use Ninjatrader. One of the top reasons I use it is its availability of Constant Range Bars. Will using NJ with MB have the same option of using CRBs to display charts?

>>> I check with NT, here is their response
Your understanding is correct, clients can use custom range bars with MB Trading data.

Also, historical data is available in NT 7, if you have any clients that want NT 7 right now, please have them send a note to sales@ninjatrader.com and we will include them in our next round of beta testing.

2. Are the customer accounts at MB segregated?

>>> to the extent that funds are segregated from operating capital..yes

3. Are there any restrictions in regards to withdrawing funds? Let's say I deposit 1K and turn it into 2K at the end of the month. Will there be any restrictions withdrawing 1K at the end of the month, and if not, how long does it usually take to have the money deposited into the customer's bank account, if it's a wire transfer? AFAIK, it usually takes 1-2 business days.

>>> no restrictions

4. Is MB standing for Manhattan Beach a myth?

>>> this would be true.

Again, much thanks!

Why the name tho? I'm just curious. I used to live in MB.

Hopefully a mod reads this thread and cleans up the spam.

Some people need to learn some manners and learn to differentiate between Forex and Futures.

Right, everything you said is true and completely irrelevant to this thread since is posted in the FX section and the original post is clearly about FX.

You know a man would just admit he made a mistake and move on - only an insecure boy would throw a temper tantrum like you have done here. Now go home and cry to mommy about your double data fees.

Gubinec...

Back in 1997 we started as a small regional office and grew globally over the years. Hence, the switch to MB from spelling the full name out.

Steve

This is a public forum and they are blocking some of my posts. Do you think people can't see thru what your trying to pull here.

You ask all the right questions and you and Steve work so good together. That is the spam.
