I would recommend them. Been with them for almost a year now and haven't had any problems.
Great service (no recordings), good order-types, and good commissions (for options). You can take off small legs and not have to pay the flat-fee deal which is nice. They also offer TTO orders (which are OCO orders) for option trades which few other brokers offer as well. I also haven't come across any hidden fees either.
Been through Etrade, Izone, Scottrade, and Zecco.
Haven't used IB or TOS though. I will say that.
