Maybe The US Constitution Needs An Overhaul...

Perhaps the US Constitution should be revised... TO ABOLISH THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH!

GW Bush was SUCH A HORSESHIT PRESIDENT... America elected Odumbo in part due to a backlash against Bush. IOW, "ANYBODY would be better than Bush".

Then, we got Odumbo. 10 TIMES WORSE THAN BUSH!

The Founders never dreamed someone like Odumbo would come along and behave like a tyrant... disregarding the US constitution whenever he felt like it. After all, he "took an oath" to uphold American laws and defend the Constitution... all of which he's reneged upon. With this precedent, it's likely all future presidents will view themselves as (1) NOT CONSTRAINED BY THE CONSTITUTION, and (2) LIL' NAPOLEONS.... able to rule by fiat with nobody to stop them. (Isn't that the definition of a DICTATOR?)

Perhaps we should revise the Constitution and cut our losses... before we're tempted to elect the next Hitler out of backlash against Odumbo.

I agree. We should start with the 14th amendment.

14th Amendment granted "equal protection under the law".

How do you propose it be revised? Preferential treatment and rights for citizens/non-citizens of color?

Section 1 needs to be re-written.
Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

It should read, All persons born to U.S. Citizen parents...

The 14th ammendent was bastardized by the Natural Born Citizen clause:

The weight of legal and historical authority indicates that the term "natural born" citizen would mean a person who is entitled to U.S. citizenship "by birth" or "at birth," either by being born "in" the United States and under its jurisdiction, even those born to alien parents; by being born abroad to U.S. citizen-parents; or by being born in other situations meeting legal requirements for U.S. citizenship "at birth." Such term, however, would not include a person who was not a U.S. citizen by birth or at birth, and who was thus born an "alien" required to go through the legal process of "naturalization" to become a U.S. citizen.

The "even those born to alien parents" needs to be eliminated.
