Very entertaining, thanks! The Republicans are the party of ignoramuses; the Democrats of eggheads. Each ignoramus or egghead can can chose whether to ally with Republicans or Democrats but only eggheads can understand why.

I'm not the one telling you how you should live, or telling you who you should accept. I'm OK with you having a different view. I don't consider you ignorant for it. I may consider you misguided but I'll only bring that opinion out after you have condemned me for mine.

I doubt the data exists to confirm you statement in regard to low I.Q. ranks. But I understand the important point which is that people who are both broadly and well educated are a minority of the population and therefore must comprise a minority of both political parties.

I have absolutely no reliable basis for my ridiculous assertion that the Democratic party is the party of eggheads. My personal observations led me to such an absurd statement. All of the true intellectuals I have known well, and I have known many well, have all leaned heavily toward liberal politics. I can't think of a single exception right now -- well Edward Teller, perhaps, whom I never new. Although, to my knowledge, very few of the intellectuals I've known were active members of any political party.

Mr. Tao took me far too seriously.

They have been links to a study from Berkeley right here on elitetrader showing democrats to dominate the low IQ ranks....
You probably even participated in those discussions.

I am sure the study is not perfect but you don't really think the democrat base is saying he we are smart and we can accomplish stuff if the govt would stop getting in our way do you?
