Too bad Daniel_M didn't see that. He could have used his fine sensitivity and made the death certificate of a young woman who was survived by a young husband and a very young son into something comical.

Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I see a slight conflict in this story. Oh, now you're the big brave soldier who went off to war. However, in a previous version of your now famous "war" experience:

"I went to jail for resisting the Viet Nam war. They gave me a choice then to stay in jail, or go serve. We worked out a deal. I did neither."

Well, stay tuned for RS7's explanation of this one. Maybe he's not a real fibber, just delusional. Too many viewings of "Platoon?" With his secret mission for the US State Dept story, maybe he has seen too many double-oh-seven films. Hmmm... and the handle is RS... "7." Draw your own conclusion.

You see a conflict? I clearly said I did NOT go to Vietnam (unless you count flying over it on my way to Bangkok). My "serve" statement meant "serve in Vietnam". I never did. I thought I made that clear. Nor did I stay in jail. Thus "I did neither".

You have my name and everything else you need to know about me because of your snooping of public records. Now go check with the VA. See if I have an honorable discharge. I think you even know the date.

Aphie, if you want to see what Max is really about, and how he will never accept reality, I suggest you do a search on him and "Chamonix". Or try "French visa". Or try "Monaco". Or try "your (meaning my) wife's family". Or better yet, do what Max does. Just read ALL his posts. (which I would not suggest...likely to lead to serious health problems for you Aphie)
