Maverick74 and marketsurfer's TopstepTrader Combine (daily trade reports and journal)

I want to do the 2 week 50K combine. Yes, I will post daily results. What do you have to fear?

As in posting daily results?

Not sure if I`m interested in the heat and politics associated with that, but I would not mind posting my performance after I finish the Combine. I don`t see how it would benefit me to post daily performance reports.

Which Combine will you be starting?

I want to do a Combine for a $150K account. Profit target for 10 days is $12 000/$1200 per day. Profit target for 20 days is $16 000/$800 per day.

Passing the 20 days is obviously easier, but I`m not really motivated for paper trading for 4 weeks.

I will be trading ES, possibly some CL, but I will focus on ES. The performance requirements are strict for the kind of leverage I`m interested in utilizing, but it should be achievable.

I`m considering asking if they`re interested in reducing the profit target to $10 000 for the 10-day Combine as in a custom combine. As I understand it, they will not even evaluate a P&L of $11 500 regardless of the performance profile (low or no drawdown).

Regards,

LF.

I need peace of mind if I am to trade successfully. I can`t risk being destabilized by a flame thread and politics such as the one we`ve seen here.

Maybe a little off topic. I can walk and chew gum at the same time. But I can't trade and be in a chat room at the same time.
Too much noise and BS.

Agreed. Plus, why would I want to listen to other traders? Might give me a bias that's not my own.

I agree to all four previous posts, nil distractions required, not even a radio or TV. I prefer total silence, but in between trades get outside for exercise. Posting on ET while trading draws you into a debate which is often hard to extricate from, so better not start is my opinion.
