Personally, I agree.

Radical/jihadi Islam has no intention of "fitting in" with any civilized society. Islam is the enemy of the rest of the world and should be eliminated for the good of all humanity! (If not eliminated, at least prevented from encroaching upon civil society. Keep them corralled.... let them "Jihadi/Islam/Sharia" each other all they want in their own ME territory... like they've been doing forever... nobody gives a shit about that.)

(For those of you who are "aghast" at the notion... this is nothing new. The fight against Islamic terror has been going on for ~1500 years.)

I used to have this perspective, but when you are in a 3rd world country w/an enemy eons more sophisticated fighting like "men" w/drones, night vision, 2 mile range snipers, all sorts of long range weaponry, etc... It's not exactly hand to hand trench warfare. Dirty war is the only way to make things even (by switching popular support for occupation in your enemy's country)
